you must start your treatment with baseline survey in order to figure out the source of infestation and aggregation sites of insects population and conducive factors to the infestation.

Focus on closing cracks and gaps. Adult cockroaches can hide in a crack 1/16 of an inch wide, and mice can squeeze under a door gap the width of a pencil (¼ inch). Remember to:

  • Reduce gaps around door edges and along thresholds when installing doors.
  • Install door sweeps on front and main entry doors.
  • Seal entry points for water pipes, radiator pipes, risers, gas lines and electrical lines.
  • Seal edges between cabinets and walls. Seal any holes or cracks around appliances.
  • Repair water-damaged areas and fix leaks.

Cleanliness:

We have to use vacuuming along with other control methods, and that before chemical spray or gel treatments.

GEL PLACEMENT:

We will Placed gel on hinges, and  the inner upper corner of cupboards, and the backside of lateral edges of drawers and the backside of home appliances

INSECTICIDE DUSTING:

in deep and large cracks and crevices, Insecticide dust is a perfect solution when other control means cannot be applied.

INSECTICIDE SPRAY:

Gently spray at low pressure the lower edges of premises perimeter and under sink cabinet.

Gently spray at low pressure the inner sides of the manhole and then spray the inner side of manhole cover lid, must ensure well and good coverage of insecticidal solution for the entire surfaces including cracks and crevices.

Guarantee:

The guarantee is that the pest company or your technician will return if the pests become a nuisance after treatment. So it’s really only as good as the company you hire.

there is re-treatment warranty in place 24/7 inside the apartment,  we will perform additional service to eliminate the problem immediately – at no additional charge.

The guarantee for cockroaches shall be no less than six months, and for ants shall be no less than three months

Instructions:

Direct instructions after the end of service:

  • Leave the house for no less than three hours.
  • Clean the house the next day with a wet towel, warning against rinsing with water
  • It is necessary not to remove the gel dots completely.

General instructions:

  • Keep garbage in sealed bags or containers.
  • Keep food in sealed containers.
  • Keep counters and sinks free from food residue.
  • Reduce clutter.
  • Recycle piles of newspapers, paper bags and cardboard.
  • Don’t leave pet food out overnight.
  • Don’t leave dirty dishes in the sink.
  • Report pests, water leaks, holes that can attract pests to building management.

Material of control:

We use pesticides according to the regulations and standards of Dubai Municipality, Pest Control Department, and the Ministry of Environment in the United Arab Emirates, also use a wide spectrum of pesticides, synergists and adjuvants, starting with gel and ending with microcapsules

 

Our pest control technicians are licensed and certified by the municipality of the state of Dubai (pest control division).

 

RECORD KEEPING:

The Service Provider shall be responsible for maintaining an IPM logbook or file for each building specified in this contract. These records shall be kept on-site and maintained on each visit by the PMP performing pest control service. Each logbook or file shall contain at least the following items:

 

  1. IPM Plan: A copy of the Service Provider’s approved IPM Plan, including pesticide Labels and MSDS sheets for all pesticides that will be potentially used in the building, service schedule for routine pest control inspections, and photocopies of the relevant Commercial Pesticide Applicator Licenses and Certificates.

 

  1. Building Occupant Log Form: These forms will be used to advise the Service Provider of routine service requests and pest sightings by building occupants.

 

  1. Service Provider’s Report Forms: Customer copies of the Service Provider’s signed and dated Service Report Form, documenting all information on services provided including pesticide applications required by State and local statute. This form must also indicate any recommendations made by the Service Provider for additional action advisable by the customer, e.g., structural or plumbing repairs required to limit pest access to the building or to food and water resources; improvements in sanitation, etc. A copy of this form must also be provided to the COO within one week of the service.

 

  1. Service Provider Products and Devices: All bait stations, snap traps and glue boards or other devices left behind by the Service Provider are to be dated, numbered and listed on the Service Provider Report Form and checked on each subsequent visit until removed. All such devices shall be removed when full, dirty and no longer effective, or no longer needed.

SCOPE OF WORK
Initial IPM Inspection:
AL KANANA PEST CONTROL will conduct initial interior and exterior inspection and provide a written report that identifies problem areas and recommends structural, sanitary and/or procedural modifications to reduce pests’ access to food, water and shelter.
IPM Monitoring Plan:
AL KANANA PEST CONTROL will submit a monitoring plan for building manager approval in advance of any contracted work. The plan will include:
1. An ongoing monitoring proposal for all locations where there is an active infestation, pest evidence or conditions potentially leading to infestation
2. Meetings or calls after treatment of infested areas
3. Recommended procedures for unit turnover
IPM Identification:
involves confirming the type or species of a pest (for example, a mouse versus a rat; a German cockroach versus a brown-banded cockroach). Once the pest is identified, habitat modifications may greatly reduce the infestation. These habitat modifications may include making repairs, cleaning, removing standing water, and removing clutter.
